GET Engineering’s ATDS over Ethernet (TCP/IP) System in a Small Form Factor (SFF) bulk mount chassis. Powered by an Intel® processor and Xilinx® Spartan FPGA, this SFF Single Channel ATDS Over Ethernet Systems transforms MIL-STD-188-208-1A (TADIL-A Appendix 2) data to standard Ethernet protocol, effectively turning your ATDS ports into an Ethernet aware device that meets stringent ATDS Latency specifications. The SFF chassis is optimized for fanless and ultra-reliable operation. Designed for harsh environments encountered in mobile ground, ship board, and airborne equipment.

Any ATDS device can now be accessed through a standard 802.3 Gigabit Ethernet port. GET solutions integrate legacy tactical data processors and peripheral equipment into the new NetCentric Open Architecture standard. Client software conforms to the standard GET Engineering driver protocol. The user configures the system and transacts data though the TCP/IP connection using GET’s Common User Interface (CUI) for ease of application development and porting. Multi-node connectivity through the Ethernet interface is supported while functioning either as a Data Terminal Set (DTS) or Terminal Data System (TDS).

All configuration parameters are accessible through a simple software interface with FPGA controlled DMA channels to reduce host CPU overhead. The software included with the ATDS system provides the user with an operating system independent API enabling easy migration from one operating system to another. This is the common API used by GET ATDS adapters allowing applications written for an adapter based system to easily be ported to the Ethernet based interface.
